Ensuring together with the relevant suppliers that cleaning and packaging of goods will be compliant to cleanroom environment requirements. Check of implementation onsite at the suppliers.

Outsourcing to Hungary

Relocation of more than 1.000 electronic assemblies to an EMS partner in Hungary. Savings of 15% compared ti previous manufacturing locations.

Total Cost of Ownership

Development of a method and toolbox to calculate TCO in the supply chain. Roll-out in the company and staff training, presentation of the concept and tools in a keynote speech for the local business chamber.

SAP-Introduction

Part of the core team (MM Mode R/3) at a tier 1 automotive supplier. Tasks: process documentation, training and data management.

Process Documentation for TS16949

Creating the complete set of purchasing relevant process documents for a certification audit under TS16949.

Transition to Consignment Stock

The supply chain for electronic assemblies was successfully switched to consignment stock in cooperation with a Taiwanese manufacturer, leading to cost reductions of 10%.

​

Re-Sourcing an Entire Commodity

An entire commodity of custom made drawing parts had to e re-sourced. A new supplier in Hungary was identified and taken through successful onboarding. Savings: 30%.

Supplier Management in Asia

After a fire in a supplier's plant a whole family of products and tools had to be re-sourced quickly. Audit of several potential suppliers and contact closures in China.

Design To Cost / Cost-Down-Projects

Integration of purchasing in NPI projects, cooperation with product management and R&D in early project stages in order to secure the most ideal cost structure.
